Building The Ivory Medical Clinic – Another Successful Medical Construction Project
Ivory Medical Clinic needed a major upgrade to not only create a facility that looks appealing ,but also one that fulfills the needs of patient care. We were extremely happy to take on this project given that it was another opportunity for us to showcase our skill and capabilities in medical renovations. The project was done in well planned phases and it took two months to complete. Building this new clinic included the reception/waiting area, examination rooms, doctor’s office, bathrooms, sterilization area and staff area. We’ll take a look at this in more details in the paragraphs below. As you can see from the photos, the resulting space was clean, classic and spacious which we both considered a success.
Building New Exam Rooms
The clinic’s exam room is one of the main areas we were tasked to work on during this renovation project. With combined skills and many years of experience, we know too well that exam rooms need to be perfect in form and function because they can actually contribute to making the doctor and staff’s work easier. In this particular project, we transformed the exam room into a spacious, fully functional and beautiful space that patients and staff would love. From the solid core doors to the stunning quartz countertops and millwork cabinets, each room was designed with the needs of the client in mind. We also worked on the framing, data lines, lighting, and plumbing to ensure everything runs smoothly and on time .
The Doctor’s Office
Among the renovation goals we were given by the client, we were tasked to create a doctor’s office that is spacious, appealing to patients and ideal for the doctors to operate efficiently. We worked on one doctor’s office paying attention to all the features that create the right ambiance and make patients feel comfortable and relaxed. The clinic also needed insulated walls for sound barrier and to provide the needed privacy.
New Build Bathrooms
Clinics need very efficient bathroom spaces which fulfill the needs of employees and patients. We took into account safety features and easy to use components in this area during the renovations. We install new fixtures such as faucets, toilets, and sinks and built a handicap bathroom that’s perfectly suited for disabled patients. We also added one private bathroom for doctor and employees to use.
Sterilization Area
This was another space that was so exciting to build. We incorporated our skill and experience in medical construction to come up with a sterilization area that’s clean, simplistic and functional. The area featured beautiful quartz countertops and adequate storage space for equipment and tools often used in this area. We also took into account the local building code requirements and arranged for the necessary permits before the work begun. We discussed with the client to better understand their needs and what they desire from this particular space before redesigning the layout. We’re glad to say that they were wowed by the results.
Waiting Area
Features such as LED lighting, beautiful floor tiles, and tempered glass doors transformed the waiting area into a beautiful space. The tempered glass worked beautifully in the small space and made it appear much larger than it was before. We made the waiting area more welcoming and relaxing by painting the right color palette on the walls. The walls and floor have a warm and relaxing color which sets the right mood as the patients wait to be served. The modern design door hardware in this room added some sophistication and class which the brand desired. We also installed an efficient HVAC unit in the clinic to make sure the patients and staff are comfortable and relaxed regardless of the weather.
